We have all come to hear about the famous Golden Mile of Marbella. This beautiful palm-lined approximately 8km coastline runs between the western-most end of Marbella right up until the exquisite and world-famous marina in  Puerto Banus.

The name of this elegant boulevard reflects its charm already, but the view takes all the breath away. The Golden Mile is home to some of the most valuable real estate in Europe, and its residents are solely businessmen, respectable politicians, aristocrats and celebrities.

Many people don't know that the Golden Mile was actually the birthplace of Marbella, the site was chosen by Prince Alfonso Hohenlohe as he was looking to build his luxury Marbella Club Hotel. The hotel has opened its doors in the mid 1950's and attracted many European and international businessmen, celebrities, politicians and overall wealthy individuals, transforming the area into one of the worlds premier destinations - as we know it today.

The coast between the famous Puente Romano and Marbella Club Hotel is lined with stylish beach clubs, and area boasts incredible shopping facilities, with top international designer brands, exclusive night clubs and lively discotheques open from dusk till dawn. There are the finest restaurants offering international or traditional Spanish cuisine. From exclusive Michelin stars places and world famous chefs to lovely cafes with cosy terraces allowing to enjoy sunny afternoons and relaxing evenings.

It's clearly unsurprising then, that the Golden Mile is home to some of the most luxurious mansions settled on large estates, exquisite private villas, penthouses and apartment complexes.
